Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TAG CPA ("tagcpa.io", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit https://tagcpa.io, use our free tools, or submit information through our forms. By using the site, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you complete the Scaling Blueprint assessment or a lead form, we collect the details you enter: first and last name, company name, business email, phone number, and your answers to assessment questions (for example revenue range, margins, and finance-related priorities).
- Booking information. If you book a strategy session, scheduling is handled by Calendly and governed by Calendly's own privacy policy in addition to this one.
- Technical information. Standard web logs and device information (browser type, approximate region, pages visited) collected by our hosting and analytics infrastructure (Cloudflare).
2. How we use your information
- To generate and deliver the personalized report you requested.
- To notify our team of your inquiry so we can follow up (form submissions are delivered to our internal, private workspace).
- To schedule and prepare for strategy sessions you book.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and tools.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Legal basis
We process personal information with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), to respond to your requests, and where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving our services in ways that do not override your rights.
4. Disclosure
We share information only with service providers that operate the site and our workflows (hosting and security, form delivery, scheduling, analytics), each bound to use it solely to provide their service — and where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep lead and assessment information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed or upon a verified deletion request.
6. Your rights
Canada (PIPEDA). You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, and withdraw consent to its continued use. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
United States (including California / CCPA). You may request disclosure of the personal information we have collected, request deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within the timelines required by applicable law.
7. Children
The site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data proportionally to its sensitivity.
9. Cookies and analytics
The site uses minimal cookies and privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare) to understand aggregate usage. Embedded content (for example the introduction video hosted by Wistia) may set its own cookies governed by the provider's policy.
10. Third-party links
Links to third-party sites (such as Calendly) are governed by those sites' own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
